Drake Burning Bridges AI trend, explained
The Burning Bridges AI trend recasts the host of Drake's party video with anyone: you, a friend, a sitcom character. This page covers the original scene, the TikTok sound most people use and how the AI versions are made.

The song and the scene
"Burning Bridges" is a Drake song from the album ICEMAN, released on May 15, 2026 (the official sound on TikTok). Its video is one handheld take of a packed party in a wood-panelled room under crystal chandeliers.
The moves people copy all come from that take: the host pushes a silver cup up to the camera, swings his hands down, tugs his collar, points at friends around the room and finally puts a flat hand over his eyes and scans the crowd, the "where she at?" look.
What the AI trend is
The AI version keeps the scene and swaps the host. Among the most-liked posts are sitcom characters at an office party (a Michael Scott version passed 490,000 views), footballers, historical figures, pets and, more and more, people putting themselves and their friends in the room.
TikTok's Burning Bridges AI page listed more than 1.6 million posts on October 12, 2026, and many of the top ones are tutorials and CapCut templates rather than finished videos.
How it started
- May 15, 2026: Drake releases "Burning Bridges" on the album ICEMAN. The video is one handheld take of a packed party in a wood-panelled room under crystal chandeliers.
- Late Sep 2026: People start replacing Drake in the video with AI. A Reddit thread on September 30 traces the first versions to Higgsfield's "Genjutsu" video-to-video tool.
- Oct 2026: Searches for "burning bridges ai" climb every week, and TikTok's Burning Bridges AI page passes 1.6 million posts: sitcom characters, athletes, pets and people's own friends at the party.
Which sound people use
Most of the popular videos don't use Drake's official sound. They reuse a 28-second clip of the song uploaded by other accounts, starting at the chorus ("Burning bridges is okay, I'd rather take the long way"). Of the 20 most-liked "burning bridges ai" videos we checked on October 12, 2026, 19 used such a clip; the most reused is "original sound - cazetv".
Videos made on this site are silent and timed to that sound: add it in TikTok and start it at 0:00 for the full 29-second video, or at 0:05 for the 15-second one.
How the AI versions are made
The first versions were made with video-to-video tools that take a clip of the music video plus photos of the new person. A Reddit thread from September 30 describes the Higgsfield "Genjutsu" workflow: upload the clip, add photos from several angles and write a prompt asking the model to replace Drake and keep everything else. People in that thread also report "restricted content" errors and unclear credit costs.
This site never sends the music video to the AI. The room is modelled on the video's set, the movement follows its handheld take, and the faces come from your photos: yours as the host and up to six friends around you. See the step-by-step guide.
Is this site connected to Drake?
No. Burning Bridges AI is an independent tool. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Drake, OVO, Republic Records or TikTok, and your video contains no footage or audio from the "Burning Bridges" music video.
